Apply for our Annual Scholarship
Every year Apopkon will be awarding 2 annual scholarships to high school or college students based on merit and essay submissions. The applications will be judged by industry leaders of the cause we are representing within that year.
For 2023 we are focused on Mental health and wellness and we are awarding 2 Scholarships to students pursuing degrees and careers in social work.
The Scholarships will be:
- $500 towards the overall best essay and student studying towards a career in social work.
- $250 towards the runner-up student and also studying towards a career in social work.
Applications will be open from Dec 1st, 2022 to April 21st, 2023.
Instructions
To apply simply submit your information below along with your essay. The essay must answer the following question:
“What made you decide on a career in social work, and what do you foresee can make a meaningful impact in the future of social work as a career“
The essay must include all sources, all plagiarized materials will be immediately disqualified.
The essay must also be a minimum of 1,200 words or more.
Announcements: The Scholarship recipient will be announced 1 week prior to Apopkon ( Friday, April 28th, 2023 ) and will be given the check at a special ceremony in Apopkon. They will also be given 2 VIP tickets prior to the event. Any questions can be directed to scholarships@apopkon.com

Scholarship Application
Apopkon is a Orlando Comic Con, Toy Con, and Pop Culture convention all wrapped in one but with a purpose. The Apopka Area Chamber Foundation will be hosting this event at Camp Wewa on May 5th and 6th with Partner promoters like YellowJack Media and ScifiPopFest.
